Dear Defender Families,

We are excited to be heading into Week 5 and moving right along through September! Learning is in full swing, and it has been wonderful to see students engaged and thriving in their classes. We encourage you to continue checking in with your student(s) about what they are learning and how they are progressing in their grades. Our Defenders have made a smooth and successful transition into the school year, and together we can keep that positive momentum going strong!

Here are a few helpful reminders and updates:

• Attendance: Every day counts! We encourage families to schedule appointments and trips outside of school hours whenever possible. Consistent attendance is one of the most important ways to support your child’s success. If your student is healthy, we want them here learning with us!

• Calendar: Please take a look at the 2025–2026 school year calendar. Keeping these dates in mind will help with planning family events and making the most of the school year.

🌟 Gates open at 7:45 am. All students should be in their classes by 8:00 am.

If you have a student who is riding a bike/scooter/ebike/escooter to school, they need to complete the Safe Riders Course.
