Bellflower USD 25-26 LCAP Review and Feedback

What is an LCAP?

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures that the District is planning to implement to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. Annually, the LCAP is reviewed and revised as needed based on educational partner feedback and student needs.

How can I provide feedback?

The Bellflower Unified School district has completed a DRAFT of the 2025 - 2026 LCAP. The LCAP is available below for you to review and provide additional input before it goes to our board of Education for approval on June 18, 2025. If you would like to provide feedback after reviewing the DRAFT LCAP, please send an email with your feedback to: publiccomment@busd.k12.ca.us. We encourage educational partners to provide feedback by June 9, 2025 by 9:00 AM PST.

The Barnyard Came to Ramona

On Friday, the barnyard came to Ramona, featuring chickens, goats, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even baby pigs! It was a fun and unique opportunity that also attracted visitors from the district eager to see the barn animals. Students delighted in interacting with all the animals and left with stories about their favorite barnyard friends. If you get a chance, ask your child which animal was their favorite!

A special thank you to the PTA for your fundraising participation this year; without your support, these enriching experiences wouldn't be possible. We also want to express our gratitude to Principal Esqueda for helping make Ramona such a joyful place to learn. Enjoy some snippets from Friday’s Barnyard Bonanza!
