School-Wide Buddy Program
This month, Renton Park is launching a schoolwide Buddy Program! Each month, older and younger students will meet with their buddy class to do a fun activity together and read together. Buddy programs help students build friendships across grades: younger students gain role models and reading practice, and older students grow as leaders and practice kindness and patience.
Ask your child about their buddy class, and what they’re looking forward to doing together this year!
NOTE: Launch dates varies - some buddies met Friday, Oct. 16 while others are scheduled to meet next Friday.

Let's Talk
This month, our character skill is perseverance—the ability to keep going even when something is difficult.
Our weekly Let’s Talk questions invite families to explore what perseverance looks like at school, at home, and in everyday life. Set aside a few minutes to listen, share, and encourage one another!
Question to discuss as a family this week: Everyone has different strengths and needs. What can we do to help people of all abilities feel welcomed, respected, and included?
Daily Bell Schedule: Monday - Thursday
Daily Bell Schedule: Friday

All students at our elementary schools receive one free breakfast and lunch each day. However we ask for you to complete a meal application in order to ensure your child's school qualifies for federal and state funding that is determined by parent income levels. You may also be eligible for other benefits such as reduced fees for programs and activities.
