Keep Costumes Home Friday

Tomorrow is Halloween, but trick-or-treating doesn’t happen until after school lets out. Therefore, please keep those costumes home; there’s learning to be done here!

Tuesday, November 4, is a Digital Learning Day

This is just a reminder that on Tuesday, November 4, students and teachers do not report to school. Teachers will be voting and completing tasks at home. Here is the WP Student Choice Board for our students to complete. K-2 students are not bringing Chromebooks home. Let’s get them outside to complete these fun activities.

Save the Date for the Thanksgiving Luncheon

On Friday, November 14, WP will host families for the annual Thanksgiving Luncheon. More information will follow regarding payment methods and the schedule for each class.

FINAL DAY for Read-a-thon Fundraising Challenge: October 20–31!
Our Wildcats have finished their reading, but the fundraising fun isn’t over yet! We’re at $9,300 toward our $16,000 goal, and every dollar makes a difference for our school.

Don’t forget about the Superhero Fundraising Challenge! From October 20–31, the top three students who raise the most money will each win a gift card prize!

Visit our site for more information or to sign up (that’s right…there’s still time to set up a fundraising page!)

Every donation helps power programs like:
📚 Field trips and special classroom experiences
🍎 Teacher grants
🎉 Staff appreciation events
🌍 Diversity and inclusion programs
📸 Free yearbooks for all students
🍧 Community social events (like our beloved popsicle socials!)

Let’s rally together, Wildcats — because reading is our Superpower, and so is giving back!

🧙‍♀️ The Great Candy Cauldron Challenge! 🍬

Have leftover Halloween candy? Put it to sweet use! Each Winnona Park grade is competing in The Great Candy Cauldron Challenge to help stock the staff breakroom with treats.

Bring your extra candy to your grade’s cauldron at the front of the school all week long — each donation helps “brew up joy” for our amazing staff. The grade that fills their cauldron the most will win the Golden Cauldron Cup and ultimate bragging rights! 🏆

🕒 Candy collection will be through Friday, November 7, so gather your goodies and help your grade cast the winning spell!

Fresh Harvest + Winnona Park = A Delicious Partnership!
