This "special edition" newsletter is for new and returning families who will have a student in kindergarten next fall. If you are a new Middleton family, welcome to our community! If you are a returning family with younger sibling joining us, we are so glad we get to continue to partner with you.
If you do not have an incoming kindergarten student next year but happen to know someone who does, please share this newsletter with them. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Natasha Edinger
Principal
CLICK HERE for online registration. Incoming Kindergarten students must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2025. Registering early helps the school and district start planning for the fall.
During online registration, new families will create a Sherwood ParentVUE account. Parents of current and former Sherwood students will log in with their existing ParentVUE account. Please call the Middleton front office at 503-825-5300 if you have any questions.
Please note that if you have a current Sherwood School District PreK student, you do not need to complete the registration paperwork. Your child will automatically be enrolled in kindergarten at the conclusion of the PreK school year.
Families are also welcome to register using paper registration. Paper registration packets can be picked up from the front office.
If you are a future Mustang, we'd love to have you join us at some of our upcoming school events. Consider this your invitation to...
- April 16th from 5:00-7:00: Around the World at Middleton. This NEW event was created to celebrate the many cultures represented at our school. Middleton families will host tables to share their cultural heritage. Students will receive "passports" to get stamped as they visit each table. Additionally we will have games, crafts, a parade of flags, and some music and dance performances!
- May 16th from 4:00-8:00: Middleton School Carnival. Come enjoy carnival games, food trucks, a bounce house, and so much more!
