STAAR Testing Next Week for 3rd & 4th Grade
Next week, our 3rd and 4th grade students will take the STAAR test. This is just one way to show what they have learned, but we know our students are smart in so many different ways!
To help your child do their best, make sure they get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and come ready to focus. We want students to try their hardest, but there’s no need to stress—this is simply a chance to show what they know.
Standardized tests help teachers understand how students are learning and how we can better support them. Thank you for encouraging your child to do their best while keeping a positive mindset!
New Website and CISD App
Over the next few weeks, campuses across the District, including ours, will be launching a new website. When that happens, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the refreshed design and set new bookmarks for your browsing convenience. You can also download the new Conroe ISD app in your device’s app store and begin customizing the pages and news you want to see.
Additionally, in the coming weeks, you will receive information about our new mass communication system called Alerts. Be on the lookout for texts from 98900 when the new system is implemented. Emails and texts may have a slightly different look, but they’ll still contain all of the great information we share. These transitions are part of a bigger initiative to bring efficiency to the District’s communication platforms, and there are more exciting updates to come!
