The Hatter Chatter
District Communications Newsletter- Back to School Edition

Message from Dr. Eveslage, Superintendent of Schools
I hope this message finds you refreshed and energized after a well-deserved summer break. As we stand on the brink of a new school year, I am filled with excitement and optimism for what lies ahead. Our district has always been a place where students not only learn but thrive, and I am proud to say that this year will be no exception.
A Focus on Welcoming Schools:
Our schools are the heart of our community, and we are committed to every student feeling safe, valued, and welcomed. This year, we are renewing our focus on fostering inclusive and supportive environments where all students can flourish. Our staff is dedicated to building relationships that matter and creating spaces where every student can find their voice and share their unique perspectives.
Achievement and Growth:
Academic excellence continues to be a cornerstone of our district. Our educators have been working tirelessly to ensure that every student is achieving and growing. Whether your child is starting their first day of kindergarten or preparing to graduate, we are committed to providing the tools, resources, and support needed to help them reach their fullest potential. This year, we will continue to push the boundaries of learning, embrace innovative teaching practices, and celebrate the individual progress of every student.
Post-Secondary Success:
We understand that education is a journey that extends beyond the classroom. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in school and life. This year, we are doubling down on our efforts to guide students toward their post-secondary goals, whether that means college, career, or other pathways. Through a combination of rigorous academics, career readiness programs, and personalized support, we are equipping our students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in whatever path they choose.
As we embark on this new school year, I want to express my deepest gratitude to our staff, families, and community members for your unwavering support and dedication to our students. Together, we are building a brighter future for all.
Here’s to a year of growth, achievement, and success. Welcome back!
Scott Eveslage, Ed.D.
