Summer 2025!

Well, that's officially a wrap for the 2024-25 school year. Congratulations to our graduates and their families of the Class of 2025, and we bid you farewell! Our 29th commencement ceremony at 3M Arena at Mariucci was a great success and fitting send off. To our soon-to-be sophomores, juniors, and seniors, we wish you a fantastic summer with friends and families!

And as you all know, construction is well underway at Maple Grove Senior High. One drive along Fernbrook Avenue will reveal how significant the work is to the north and west of our school. The first phase objectives for the fall are:

  • The addition of two classrooms in the activities wing,
  • A total renovation and expansion of the boys' locker rooms,
  • Fully expanded and improved weight room and fitness room, and
  • Construction of a new parking lot and access road to align with 99th Avenue, just north of the tennis courts.

The next phase will continue through the 2025-26 school year, including:

  • A complete renovation and expansion of our girls' locker rooms,
  • Significantly expanding our cafeteria, including adding a new stairwell to the second floor locker commons, and
  • Adding the new three-story classroom addition with all new Career/Tech Ed (CTE) facilities for our new pathway options.

The final phase will continue through the 2026-27 school year, bringing a new front office, renovated media center, enhanced auditorium, and renovated fine arts classrooms. We're still a long ways out!

While we are available by phone during regular office hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), the school will be closed due to construction until further notice. Our team will be moving our offices over to Maple Grove Middle School for the duration of the summer until we can return to the high school in August. Communications will be forthcoming as we continue to be updated on construction progress related to access to the building, specifically for fall activities.

With that, we’ll sign off for a bit of time. With gratitude and appreciation to each and every Crimson family, I wish you and yours a wonderful summer!

Yours very respectfully,

Bart Becker, Principal
