Tiger Talk

Sunshine and Springtime
We had great fun and strong participation on Missouri Read In Day! We had buddy reading between grade levels, first grade held a reading scavenger hunt, author visits, guest readers, flash light reading, a reading camp out and so much more! It was a great way to end the week before going into spring break. Our 4th grade math students also celebrated PIE Day, so double the fun for them!
PTO hosted the third annual Bingo night. This year it was a glow theme and we had a blast! A huge thank you to our PTO gals for all the work they put into this event. The money raised will go toward purchasing school supplies for our Tigers. Thank you PTO!
We are gearing up for MAP testing and hope to make this testing time as stress free as possible for our 3rd-6th grade students. We have worked all year to make our testing environments conducive for all students differentiating to meet their needs. You may hear your children mention testlets, Map mode, or practice tests these are all ways we prepare more specifically for the actual testing window that will be in April (dates coming soon).
We'd like to extend an ENORMOUS thanks to Misty Hoehns for taking on the challenge of purging and organizing our school pantry. We can't wait to grow this resource for our students and families and the work Misty and her husband have done gives us a huge head start!!
Spring programs coming soon!
