Academic Grade Level PLCs this Week!
Grade Level PLC meetings will be on Tuesday, September 29th from 2pm-3pm via Zoom. Please know that the goal of this meeting is to collaborate as professionals and develop interventions/supports that can be implemented to support our struggling students. Please review the Grade Level PLC Guidelines which outlines how the meeting will run and includes links to the following:
- Grade Level Teams document which includes links to all Zoom sessions

Friday Asynchronous Reminders- Be Mindful of Work Assigned
Thank you to everyone who followed the guidelines for Friday asynchronous work assignments! Please keep in mind that work assigned for Fridays often takes longer than realized when assigning the work. Be mindful of this as you assign your students work to complete during this day.
Other reminders:
- Teachers must refrain from assigning new work on Fridays. Work that should be completed during Friday asynchronous time should be assigned earlier in the week.
- Teachers should assign a reflective task for Friday, if no other work is assigned. This will ensure we are meeting the daily engagement requirements. Click here for a sample reflection form.
- Teachers can offer optional remediation activities on Friday to support students, but these cannot be required.
- Teachers must be available on Fridays for office hours for a minimum of 20 minutes each block.
- Teachers are able to request that an assignment be submitted at the end of a block; however, students must be allowed to submit that assignment by Friday at 4:15pm before a late penalty is applied.
Art Attack Reminders
Thanks for your assistance and support!
Communication & Attendance Reminders
Also, please make sure to submit your daily attendance by the end of the instructional day so the Attendance Office and families have accurate attendance data. Thank you for helping out your colleagues in the Attendance Office
