Sending Love to Our Oxford Neighbors Sending Love to Our Oxford Neighbors

Our Thoughts Are With You

  • Raeshell Richardson, 10th grade: We are in this together and my prayers go to the families who have lost someone in this tragedy.
  • Cloey Kreiner, 9th grade: Oxford, in this time of heartache we are here and supporting you guys and praying for you all. We hope that you will get an extra big touch of heaven as you guys and everyone around the Oxford community is going through so much. Prayers to you all!
  • Rowan Handley, 8th grade: My thoughts and prayers go out to Oxford and the families of those who died. I pray that you can get through this as swiftly and easily as possible.
  • Aubrie Miller, 9th grade: I didn’t know any of the wounded or passed people personally, but I went to school there and I grew up with some of the students there, and to think that that ever happened is so sad and none of them deserved this. I am praying for Tate Myer, Hana St. Juliana, Justin Shilling, and Madisyn Bladwin’s family and friends, and I am praying for Riley Franz, Phoebe Arthur, John Asciutto, Elijah Mueller, Kylie Ossege, and Aiden Watson’s family and friends and all of them to recover. I am praying for all other people who were in the school at the time and had to wonder if they would ever see their loved ones again and if they would make it out alive. What happened was a terrible thing and all of the victims will get justice.
  • Caila Fitchett, 8th grade: Just because you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel does not mean it is not there. I have never lost anyone I have loved but I see the pain it has caused you all, and I'm so sorry for the tragic losses everyone at Oxford has had to endure. The students, daughters, sons, and friends that have been affected by this event or taken away unrightfully will always be remembered as heroes and never be forgotten. If this awful shooting has taught us one thing, it's to cherish every memory and moment you get with those you love. It has taught us to always be kind to those who need kindness. And it has taught us that we are stronger together, and we will get through this as a community. One of my favorite quotes is, "When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure." And all the memories Oxford shared with the heroes we lost on Tuesday will be cherished and thought of constantly. The people we lost will be remembered always. Prayers and Kindness to you all.
  • Mr. Shute, Staff: Having long-term subbed at Oxford High School in my 1st year of teaching, it's still a little surreal. My thoughts and prayers will be with staff, students, and the Oxford community during this time of healing.
  • Kierstyn Stankevich, 9th grade: I hope that Oxford schools will be able to reopen in a safer community and that the victims in the hospital fully recover.❤️
  • Janine Logan, Staff: Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
  • Levi Fitchett, 6th grade: I couldn't imagine what you are going through, but I'm deeply saddened by what happened. It was terrible and should never have happened. I'm so sorry for your losses.
  • Jenna Peters, 12th grade: This tragedy at Oxford caused us to hug our loved ones tighter and start saying “I love you” more frequently. Sadly, bad things will always happen to good people. just know the Dryden community is standing with you and we all love you! #oxfordstrong
  • Penelope Spencer, 7th grade: We all will work together as a community and will get through this horrible thing together, we are here for you.
  • Deb Mannion, Staff: Our hearts go out to the Oxford community. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very tragic time.
