October Weekly Update
Week of Sunday, October 5th - Friday, October 10th, 2025
This Week in Faith
Dear Families,
October is also the Month of the Holy Rosary; our Blessed Mother statue is beautifully adorned in church—stop by with your children to say a Hail Mary.
Know of my prayers for your families.
A NOTE ABOUT MASS ATTENDANCE
Why Sunday Mass Matters (for every grade)
We get 168 hours each week. Giving 1 hour to Sunday Mass is where we meet Jesus in the Eucharist—the “source and summit” of our faith. At Mass, we:
- Meet Jesus in Word and Eucharist—the heart of our Catholic life
-
Hear God’s Word and learn how to live it.
-
Receive grace & is nourished in Holy Communion (or a blessing while preparing).
-
Keep the Lord’s Day holy (3rd Commandment) and reset our week with peace and purpose.
-
Learn and grow together as a family in faith and virtue.
-
Belong to a community that prays, serves, and supports one another.
Mass is where your child sees the lesson “come alive.” It truly strengthens what we teach and forms disciples for life.
One hour with the Lord shapes the other 167 hours—heart, mind, and habits.
