8TH GRADE PROMOTION
The event will be at Arcade Church, 3927 Marconi Ave, Sacramento, CA, 9582.
While we hold our Promotion Ceremony at the Arcade Church, there are no religious or spiritual aspects to our ceremony. The Arcade Church simply has an auditorium and parking lots that can accommodate all of our students and families for this event.
All 8th graders will be recognized during the ceremony, but will not walk across the stage, as they do at graduation. "Crossing the stage" is a special part of graduations, which we honor at the end of students' high school careers. Students who win an individual award will be called to the stage.
The Arcade staff is excited to celebrate all of our promoting 8th graders and their achievements at this event!

POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION AND SUPPORTS
Thank you for Being Spartan Strong!
Arcade follows the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, which creates an environment that allows all students to thrive. As part of that framework, teachers acknowledge students who are exhibiting Spartan Strong behaviors, being kind, safe, and responsible, by giving them a Spartan Strong ticket.
Congratulations to our winners!
In addition, every Friday, we run a student store that exchanges Spartan Tickets for snacks! This is another opportunity for students to use their tickets they've earned for being kind, safe, and responsible.
Thank you, Spartans, for being kind, safe, and responsible!
