Round Hill Eagles Nest
October 2026
Principal's Message
October has been busy at Round Hill School! We have had so many great things happening over the past few weeks, and I want to take a moment to recognize the people who help make these experiences possible for our students.
A big thank you to our volleyball parents for helping with the Divisionals concession, our junior high students for supporting the tournament, and Ms. Lindstrand for coaching both cross country and volleyball. What a season! Thank you as well to the Kodiaks for making Hockey Hooky such a great experience for our students. We appreciate everyone who helps make these opportunities possible!
We have had lots of exciting learning opportunities and celebrations lately, from guest speakers like Levi Stanford and Officer Sande, to Hockey Hooky, Volleyball Divisionals, our first REAL assembly, volleyball pep rally, and Halloween celebrations. It has been great to see our students learning, getting involved, and showing school spirit!
As we move further into the colder months, please remember to dress for the weather. Students are outside before school and during recess when temperatures are warmer than -20Β°C with the wind chill. This is an important reminder for all families, especially those with students who ride the bus. Students need to be dressed appropriately for the weather, including having a warm coat, snow pants, winter boots, mitts, and a hat. We want everyone to stay warm and safe as the temperatures drop!
Thank you to our families, staff, and community members for continuing to support the many opportunities we provide for our students. It takes a community to make these experiences possible, and we are grateful to be part of such a supportive one.
Looking forward to November!

The Jr. High Girls Volleyball team have finished the regular season undefeated!
Because the girls were first in their division, Round Hill School got to host the East Division Finals on Wednesday October 28th. This was a huge accomplishment from the Jr. High Girls, and we thank all the wonderful parents who helped make the day run smooth for everyone. Karmen spearheaded the concession, Kim Jamandron streamed the games for all, and Ms. Taren Lindstrand (Head Coach) and Allie Bergman (Assistant Coach) coached our team to GOLD!
With that, our girls now move onto the Regional Tournament at STCA Catholic High School on Tuesday November 3rd. They have games at 11:15 and 3:00 p.m. Come down and cheer them on!

Please remain vigilant and ask questions if you receive a suspicious call. Avoid sharing personal information until you are confident the caller is legitimate. The attached document provides helpful information to support you if you receive a scam call.
