Morton Ranch Elementary

As we approach the end of the 2024-2025 school year, I want to take a moment to recognize and thank all of you who have volunteered your time and energy to support our students and make this year a success. Whether you’ve volunteered for one hour or twenty, your contribution has made a positive impact on our campus and has helped create a better learning environment for our Mavericks.

There are TWO special events to celebrate YOU, our incredible volunteers:

Campus Volunteer Celebration – Join us for a special event here at Morton Ranch Elementary, where we will honor all of our volunteers. This celebration will be a wonderful opportunity for us to personally thank you for all you’ve done. RSVP by March 28th to ensure we can celebrate together!

District VIPS Celebration – This event will be held at the Merrell Center, where the district will honor volunteers from across the community. It’s another great opportunity to celebrate your dedication and service.

We hope you’ll be able to attend both events so we can celebrate YOU and all the amazing ways you’ve contributed to our school community.

Thank you once again for your generosity and commitment to our Mavericks. Your time and support make a world of difference, and we truly appreciate all that you do!

• Wednesday, March 26th- PTA General Membership Meeting & Anti-Bullying Presentation
• Thursday, March 27th- Spring Picture Day (all students)
• Friday, March 28th- MRE Volunteer Appreciation RSVP link closes

• Please RSVP (click flyer below) no later than March 28th.
• Breakfast treats will be provided.
• Remember to bring a physical form of identification in order to enter the campus.
• Guests are welcome to check-in from 8:45-9:00 am.

Yearbooks will be delivered to campus before summer.

*Extra copies are on a first come, first serve basis once the school order has been delivered and are not guaranteed.

Make sure you order a yearbook for your family in advance!

Students will take their INDIVIDUAL Spring Pictures on March 27th during the school day.

ALL picture orders must be placed **online** with Provine Studios. Please do not send payments to the school.

Parents may also choose to wait until the photo proofs arrive before purchasing. However, photos would be shipped to the student's home after purchases and shipping charges may be added.

2. Add items to your bag and proceed to check out.

3. During check out enter our code: MREPTA (case sensitive) and use the toggle button to select that you’re supporting our fundraiser.

Following these 3 steps will ensure that your purchase will be added to our Spirit Night funds tallied up that night. We appreciate your support!

Our General Membership Meeting and 2025/2026 Board Elections will take place on Wednesday, March 26th, at 6:00 PM in the gym.

Following the meeting, we are excited to welcome Carolyn Brown as she presents “Hey Dude, Nice Shoes”. This powerful anti-bullying and pro-kindness presentation addresses the challenges of growing up while inspiring students to foster kindness and create a more positive community.

********This PTA-sponsored event is open to all MRE families, and we encourage everyone to attend. You won’t want to miss it!

Howdy! Please consider donating a few hours of your time for our monthly volunteer workday, now known as Howdy Helpers. Our helpers will spend their time helping with various tasks and projects, left by the teachers. Enjoy light refreshments while meeting fellow MAV family members. Thank you for your dedication!

To protect the integrity of the testing environment, Morton Ranch Elementary will be a closed campus (to outside visitors) on days when the STAAR test is being administered.

The calendar below identifies the days where MRE will be closed to ALL visitors.
