8th Grade Trip
Hello everyone,
While we do not have the final price as of yet for our 8th grade trip, we wanted to give you a "Save the Date" and an estimate. We will have much more detailed information at a later date.
June 2 - Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom
Approximate cost: $72 (Typically, our HSA provides a per-child donation in the $7-$10 range to offset some of the cost).
Collection: There will be a collection window between 2/2-2/12 where permission slips, medical information, and money will be collected.
Parents/Guardians: If you intend on chaperoning, you must have all clearances completed when you turn in your paperwork (parents will not be provided a discount like students from HSA)
*Only students who return their information and payment during the collection window will be guaranteed a space as we must submit final payments for buses.
Families facing financial difficulties should reach out to their child's counselor.
Fall Baseball Camp

Log vs. KMS (Volleyball)
Log faced its cross-town rival. Despite their best effort, Log fell to KMS. Our young ladies wrapped up their season this week.
Log vs. KMS (Field Hockey)
LCMS Field Hockey finished the season on a convincing note with a 3-0 victory under the lights at WTHS. Congrats to one of our most successful field hockey teams in recent memory.
Log vs. KMS (Soccer)
Our boys worked hard but fell to KMS. A young team with many talented 7th graders, we are expecting great results next year! Log also scored a second half goal to defeat Holicong 2-1 earlier in the week.
Log vs. KMS (Football)
Football wraps up its season on November 5 at 7:00 under the lights at WTHS. Click the link below to pre-purchase football tickets.

Girls Basketball tryouts begin on November 5 after school. Students must have a completed physical. Concussion tests will be issued at school for any student trying out who did not have a concussion test in the Fall.
Achievement Breakfast
Log College hosted its quarterly Achievement Breakfast. A select number of students were chosen by their teachers for the first quarter and recognized for outstanding achievement, effort, or contributions to the LCMS school and community. Congratulations and keep up the great work!

PAYS Survey
Information and Opt-out Link
Subject: Important Information: Pennsylvania Youth Survey (PAYS) – Grades 8, 10, and 12
CSD Weekly Date: October 27, 2025
Building Level Email to Grades 8, 10, & 12:
Building Level Newsletter: November
Dear Centennial School District Families,
We deeply value you and your family as partners in your child’s education and overall well-being. As part of our commitment to creating safe, supportive, and healthy learning environments, Centennial School District will participate in the 2025 Pennsylvania Youth Survey (PAYS) this fall. The PAYS is a confidential survey that asks students about their knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to topics such as school climate, mental health, family and peer relationships, and the risk and protective factors that influence youth decision-making.
The PAYS is sponsored and conducted by the PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency. Administered every two years statewide, the survey provides data that help schools and communities guide prevention efforts, improve student supports, and strengthen programs designed to keep young people healthy, safe, and thriving. You can request a list of the survey questions by visiting this link: https://epis.psu.edu/PAYS/question. For more information about the survey, including a list of Frequently Asked Questions, please visit www.pays.pa.gov. More information about the survey and the most recent data for our county can be found on the Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission website.
Centennial Survey Window: November 12–26, 2025
Centennial Students Participating: Students currently enrolled in Grades 8, 10, and 12
Centennial Administration Format: Confidential online survey completed during the Social Studies class (approximately 30–40 minutes)
Participation is voluntary, and all student responses are anonymous—no names or identifying information are collected. Results are reported only in combined form and are used to identify trends, secure prevention funding, and develop targeted programs and supports for youth.
We encourage participation, as the insights from this survey help us better understand and respond to the needs of our students and community. However, families who prefer to opt their child out may do so by completing this brief opt-out form by Friday, November 7, 2025 (by 4:00 PM).
Thank you for supporting this important effort to improve the health, safety, and well-being of Centennial students. If you have any questions, please contact us at 215-441-6000, ext. 11006.
Sincerely,
Althea Tomlinson
