A Note from Mrs. Mathe
As we wrap up another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for your support, your trust, and for allowing us to be a part of your child’s educational journey. It has truly been a joy to watch our Huskies grow—academically, socially, and emotionally—throughout the year.
This year’s theme, "Rise and Shine," reminded us daily of the potential within each student, and I couldn’t be prouder of the way our staff and students rose to every challenge and shined in every opportunity. From classroom milestones to campus-wide celebrations, this year has been filled with meaningful learning, joyful moments, and unforgettable memories.
To our families moving on to new adventures, we wish you all the best and will always consider you part of the Hines family. To our returning families, we can’t wait to welcome you back in the fall for another great year together.
Wishing each of you a summer filled with rest, laughter, and special time with those you love. Thank you for making this year one to remember.

- Click any of the pre-populated choices that apply.
- Type any additional comments in the Additional Comment box.
- Click the box labeled Create Teachers Achieving Excellence button.
- Done!
Hines Website Has a New Look!
Conroe ISD is updating its notification systems and websites! Over the next few weeks, you’ll see a new Hines website and may notice that our emails, texts, and social media posts come from a new platform. These improvements will help streamline communication, keep you informed about campus events, and provide more options for important call-outs.
Additionally, in the coming weeks, you will receive information about our new mass communication system called Alerts. Be on the lookout for texts from 98900 when the new system is implemented. Emails and texts may have a slightly different look, but they’ll still contain all the great information we share. These transitions are part of a bigger initiative to bring efficiency to the District’s communication platforms, and there are more exciting updates to come!
As a part of this roll out Conroe ISD has launched a new app that allows parents to receive push notifications directly from their child’s school. I encourage you to download the app to stay connected!

NEW Absence Reporting System
In an effort to make things easier for our families, CISD is launching an app to help you report your students absences to our school when they are out. Documentation such as doctor's notes will still need to be submitted to our campus attendance office (vblock@conroeisd.net). We are excited about the convenience of this app.
You can access the app through the Parent Portal. The directions are below.
Please view our Hines Student Handbook Addendum.
