Our March is Reading Month activities are continuing this week!

Monday: Read a book about sports

Tuesday: Make a reading fort and read inside of it

Wednesday: Draw a picture of your favorite book character

Thursday: Read a book about your favorite nonfiction topic

Friday: Dress in Olympic colors: blue, black, red, yellow, green

There will be a PTA Meeting on Monday, March 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center. All are welcome to participate. It would be great to have more parents attend this meeting, volunteer to help at events, and share their ideas!

Our professional learning morning for staff will take place again this Wednesday. This means that it is a late start for students. The first bell will ring at 9:20 a.m. with classes starting at 9:25 a.m.

When your child is going to be absent, tardy, or picked up from school early, the office needs to be notified. Please call Mrs. Catchpole with this information.

Kindergarten enrollment began on February 2, 2026. All children who are five years of age on or before September 1 are eligible to enroll for the coming school year.

If you have moved out of Royal Oak recently, you must re-enroll through Schools of Choice to secure your child’s spot for the 2026–2027 school year. The deadline for re-enrollment is March 31, 2026.
