Family Update
Dublin Jerome High School
MARCH 20, 2026 | EMBRACE THE JOURNEY | QTR. 4 WEEK 2
Weekly Message
Good Afternoon,
On Wednesday, my mother-in-law passed away after a long and difficult battle with pancreatic cancer. While we were as prepared as we could be, the loss is still difficult. We are so grateful for the time we had with her, especially the memories we made this past Christmas.
In a quiet moment this morning, I found myself reflecting on how many of life’s major events I’ve been through during my time here at Jerome. I’ve gotten married, welcomed two children, mourned my father, navigated brain surgery, and now, said goodbye to my mother-in-law.
Through every high and low, the support and comfort this community has provided me has meant more than I can put into words. I don’t take for granted how much you are a part of my life. When I say I love this community, it isn’t a cliché—I truly mean it. Thank you for being supportive and caring throughout. I am grateful.
With love and gratitude,
Mike

As the weather improves, we also have many more bike riders on the road. Please slow down, stay alert, and help us ensure everyone arrives and leaves safely.
