A state licensed dentist will check your child's mouth & teeth, as well as provide a cleaning, X-rays, fluoride treatment and apply sealants, as needed. A dental report card will be sent home with your child.

New this year, parent/guardians will schedule their Parent/Teacher Conference within ParentSquare!

Make sure you have registered your account on the ParentSquare website or App.

Emails have been sent to all families who are not currently registered in ParentSquare.

Please accept your invitation if you receive one. You will automatically be connected to your child's class.

If you have more than 1 child, you will need to accept your invitation for each child.

If you are currently receiving communications from your child's teacher through ParentSquare, then you are registered in ParentSquare and will be able to sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences when available.

Zion Elementary School District 6 will have three school board seats to be filled at the April 6, 2027, Consolidated Election.

Candidates for the office of school board can begin to circulate nominating petitions for signatures beginning August 25, 2026, through November 23, 2026. The period for filing nominating papers runs from November 16, 2026, through November 23, 2026.

Candidates for school board may download petition packets from the Office of the County Clark, Lake County IL website, https://www.lakecountyil.gov/309/Petition-Packets or at the Lake County Office of the County Clerk at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, IL during business hours.

Candidates for school board must file nominating paperwork with the Lake County Office of the County Clerk at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, IL.

Candidates may also want to consult the “2027 Candidate’s Guide,” which can be downloaded from the Office of the County Clerk website, or contact the county clerk or board of election commissioners regarding the requirements of filing.
