Hello Cler-Mont Families!
Welcome to another week at Cler-Mont! As a reminder, there is NO SCHOOL TOMORROW (Monday, October 19)! We will see students back at Cler-Mont on Tuesday, October 20.

Important Reminders & Upcoming Events
NO SCHOOL TOMORROW- Monday, October 19 (District PD Day): There will be no school for students on Monday, October 19, as our teachers and staff participate in a District Professional Development Day. Staff will spend the day learning and collaborating to strengthen their instructional practices using our new literacy resource.
$1.00 Pajama Day (Friday): This Friday is Pajama Day! We invite students to wear pajamas to school and bring $1.00 to support our Cler-Mont PTO!
Club's Choice Fundraiser is Off & Running: Just in time for the holiday season, our Club’s Choice Fundraiser offers a variety of great gift ideas for anyone on your shopping list. Fundraising packets have been sent home. Check out the post further below this message for detailed information, including digital images that show all of the leveled prizes students can earn! Students who sell 20+ items will earn a Limo Ride to eat lunch at Summit Pizza!
- Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences (Tuesday, October 27 & Wednesday, October 28): Teachers have sent out their appointment sign-up on SeeSaw. Be sure to sign up for an appointment time so you can connect with your child’s teacher to discuss their progress, celebrate their strengths, and plan for continued growth. Quarter 1 Report Cards will be shared with parents/guardians during their conference time.
Fall Party Volunteers (DUE THIS FRIDAY): If you wish to volunteer at the Fall Party, please complete the sign-up form and return it to the school by no later than Friday, October 23.
REMINDER: Any volunteer must have an updated & cleared background check on file with the Fort Osage School District. Background check forms can be obtained in the Cler-Mont Front Office.
*Detailed information about the Fall Party can be found in the post further below this message.- Fall Party Donations: If you would like to contribute to the Fall Party, the PTO would appreciate any candy, snack, or drink donations (see the guidance below).

How to Participate
Each student has a fundraising packet that includes the catalog of items available to sell and purchase. These items make great holiday gifts, but there are plenty of options for any gift occasion!

A few important reminders when taking orders:
- Collect cash/check payment when you take orders and turn in the money along with your completed order forms.
- Checks should be made payable to: Cler-Mont PTO
- Online orders can be paid for by using PayPal, Google Pay, or credit card.

That’s right—a limousine ride and pizza lunch! We can’t wait to see our students get excited about this fun opportunity while helping support their school.

How Will the Money Be Used?
Every purchase helps support our Cler-Mont students and staff! Proceeds from the fundraiser will help fund student field trips, student recognition & activities, additional classroom materials, and teacher/staff recognition.

Limo Ride & Summit Pizza
Due Friday, November 6
Each year, the Fort Osage School District conducts a climate and culture survey to evaluate the quality of our schools and guide our improvement efforts aligned with the district’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP). This year Fort Osage School District is taking part in the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey.
Your input is critical to this process and helps us identify strengths, challenges, and areas for growth. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey using the link below. Survey responses will be collected through Friday, November 6.
Surveys are distributed to students in specific grade levels, parents, and district employees. Responses from all parents will be anonymously summarized and will be included in a report for the school district. The school district will use this report in the development of school improvement efforts.
If you have more than one child in school, please complete a survey for each child. The surveys will be processed so that school officials receive reports about each building in the district.
The questionnaires contain demographic and opinion questions. You have the option not to respond to any item or not to complete a survey at all.
When completing the survey, please select your child's school from a drop-down list. We ask that you use the same link to complete a survey for each child you have enrolled in the district.
