Administration Message
Greeting St. JPII Families,
This month has blessed us with some beautiful fall days, and as we move into our last full week of September, it has been wonderful to see our students learning and growing both inside and outside the classroom. Our students also participated in the Terry Fox Run, demonstrating service, community, and a willingness to make a difference for others.
Our Gospel this week, Matthew 21:28–32, reminds us that our actions speak louder than our words. As we continue to live out our theme of Rooted, United, and Sent, we are reminded that being Sent means putting our faith into action through kindness, respect, service, and the choices we make each day.
Next Tuesday, September 30, we honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. School will be closed as we remember the children who never returned home from residential schools, honour Survivors and their families, and continue to learn about reconciliation.
We encourage our school community to wear an orange shirt as a visible reminder that Every Child Matters, and to take time to reflect and learn about the ongoing journey of reconciliation.
May we continue to be Rooted in Christ, United as a community, and Sent to make a difference.
Blessings,
Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Johnson
Please Support our STJPII Thanksgiving Challenge
Our Student Leadership team is leading a Thanksgiving Food Drive! From October 5–13, each homeroom will collect non-perishable food items to support our local food bank. The homeroom in each grade that collects the most will earn a special teacher-selected reward!

Parking Lot Procedures
Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up
To help keep our students, families, staff, and buses safe, please follow these drop-off and pick-up procedures:
School Parking Lot
Parents may use the school parking lot by driving the entire parking lot loop and dropping students off along the sidewalk.
Please keep the drop-off area clear so staff can access the parking stalls at the far end of the lot.
Parents may not park in parking stalls during drop-off or pick-up.
Please do not stop or park in random areas of the parking lot to let students out.
Legion Parking Lot
Students may also be dropped off or picked up across the street in the Legion parking lot.
Bus Loop
No parent vehicles are permitted in the bus loop at the front of the school. This area must remain clear for school buses.
A Few Important Reminders
Please follow the directions of our supervisors outside. Their role is to help keep students and buses moving safely.
Students must enter and exit through their designated grade-level doors.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to make arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for everyone!
