Dear Parents and Guardians,

THANK YOU PARENTS!!

Thanks for your patience on Thursday with getting all your students home with the closure. I know times like those can be stressful, but it is alway nice when we have parents that understand the situation and can just roll with the punches.

Just wanted to remind you that the last day to buy a yearbook will be March 19th. Our yearbook staff works so hard, you will not want to miss out on having one to keep!! (These kids probably won't believe that they will want to look at it 20 years later)

P.S If you haven't got your tickets yet to Frozen Jr, what are you waiting for???

#2: 😎 Great Moments from the Week

Our Hope Squad and Student Council created a Be Kind wall with positive and motivational sticky notes for students to take if they need a little boost. It was fun to see all the notes that were written, and the students that enjoyed taking them.

The student council also decorated the commons for the Valentine's Dance....which unfortunately didn't happen. But it was fun to enjoy the decorations that were put up!

And Mrs. Larson brought out some dried worms for lunch....I don't know if I should be more concerned that he had these laying around, or that the kids lined up to eat one....

#4: Update from Athletics

Boys Basketball

7th and 8th grade teams both played their hearts out this week. Unfortunately, 7th graders took a loss which means they are done for the season. It was a fun season to watch and we are sad it is over.

8th grade played the game of the century against West this week. It was a nail biter! I think I enjoyed watching that game more than any other NBA game out there. Unfortunately, we lost by 1 point...it came down to a clutch shot from West that put them in the lead. But no worries, we will probably be playing them in the championships so we will get them next time!
