Over the past year, a dedicated group of GHS Boosters parents has worked alongside our athletic director to raise approximately $40,000 for the purchase and installation of a scoreboard near the GHS baseball field. Thank you to this group for their hard work and persistence, and to the following organizations for their generous support:

  • Gaudette Insurance — $10,000

  • Grafton Little League — $5,000

  • GHS Boosters — $5,000

  • Community Preservation Committee — $20,000

Special thanks to Erika Wennerstrom for championing this project and presenting it at Monday evening’s Town Meeting. The scoreboard is scheduled to be installed in early spring, in time for baseball season!

The Grafton Public Library is updating its five‑year Strategic Plan, and we need your voice to help shape our next chapter. As caregivers, you see firsthand how community spaces, learning opportunities, and supportive resources impact children and families. Your experiences give us essential insight into what the Library should prioritize as we plan for the future.

Our Community Survey is one of the most important tools we have for understanding what matters most to our residents. Whether your children visit the Library every week, only occasionally, or not at all, your perspective helps ensure our programs, collections, and spaces grow in ways that truly meet the needs of Grafton’s youth and the adults who care for them.

The survey closes this Friday, October 23rd, and we hope you’ll take a few minutes to participate before it ends. Your feedback will directly influence how the Library evolves to support children, teens, and families across the community.

Thank you for lending your voice to this process and helping us build a stronger future for all Grafton families.

Warmly,

Katrina Ireland‑Bilodeau

Library Director, Grafton Public Library

Student Spotlight - Lucas Alderton (GHS Alum) Student Spotlight - Lucas Alderton (GHS Alum)

We’re proud to celebrate Lucas Alderton, who completed an internship during his senior year with Perris Woodworks, and continues to work there today! Check out the article recently published about the company expanding with Lucas's help.

Lucas dove in, learned real-world skills, and made a lasting impression on the team. His experience shows what’s possible when students and local businesses come together. Congratulations, Lucas!

Is your business interested in hosting an intern? Internships give students hands-on experience while giving your team fresh energy and new perspectives.

If you’d like to learn more, please reach out to School-to-Career Coordinator and Senior Internship Coordinator Karen Miele at mielek@grafton.k12.ma.us
