CMS PEEK AT THE WEEK

Hello, CMS Parents/Guardians! This newsletter is an update of what is going on at CMS this week.

What beautiful weather we have been having! CMS is dreaming of spring.

This week kicks off baseball/softball/tracks seasons for CMS & CHS!

With warmer weather coming, we are going to be seeing a change in clothing attire. If you need to access our dress code policy, you may do so by checking out our CMS handbook on our website!

• Students have 3 more weeks to work on their reading bingo cards!
• We have 3 weeks until spring break/end of 3rd quarter.
• There are 6 school weeks until we take the Atlas summative assessment (April 22-25).
• The 5th grade field trip has been rescheduled for May 22nd. This is the only date available, and we want students to have the opportunity to attend this trip!
• Yearbook order forms are due TODAY (Monday). This has been announced every day for students.

CMS has seen great successes with our reading bingo cards!

Our teachers have been working hard to find fun ways to encourage our students to read more!

Coach Parks is excited to pass the Staff of the Week award to Mrs. Oliver!

This week's MVP is Mrs. Oliver! She has taken on a new role this year as a classroom teacher, and she is doing an amazing job! She cares about her students and their achievements, and she works to motivate students to reach success. She is willing to help do whatever is needed at our school, and she is definitely an asset to CMS.
