Hello Lancer Families,

We’ve officially entered Quarter 2 of the school year! For our secondary families, Quarter 1 Progress Reports will be available in ParentVUE by November 6th. These marks provide valuable insight into your child’s academic growth and progress so far.

This week and into next, our elementary teachers will be holding Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences with elementary dismissal set for 1pm. Please double-check your scheduled appointment time and reach out to your child’s teacher if any conflicts arise. During your conference, you can expect to review your child’s I-Ready Reading and Math scores as well as their Quarter 1 Math assessment results.

Finally, let’s take a moment to celebrate our Middle School Girls’ Volleyball Team, who are now officially LBUSD Division III Champions! 🏆 What an incredible accomplishment and a proud moment in our school’s history. Congratulations to our Jr. Lady Lancers for their teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit!

Esta semana y la próxima, los maestros de primaria celebrarán las reuniones de padres y maestros de otoño. La salida de primaria está programada para la 1 p. m. Por favor, confirme la hora de su cita y comuníquese con el maestro de su hijo/a si surge algún inconveniente. Durante la reunión, revisarán las calificaciones de lectura y matemáticas de I-Ready de su hijo/a, así como los resultados de su evaluación de matemáticas del primer trimestre.

Finalmente, ¡celebremos a nuestro equipo de voleibol femenino de secundaria, que ahora son oficialmente campeones de la División III de LBUSD! 🏆 ¡Qué logro increíble y qué momento de orgullo en la historia de nuestra escuela! ¡Felicitaciones a nuestras Junior Lady Lancers por su trabajo en equipo, perseverancia y espíritu escolar!

Thank you for your continuing support for the Avalon Community Calendar. The listings form and order forms for 2026 are now available. Calendars will be distributed in January, if not sooner. Please use the QR code to download the forms to purchase your calendar and to add your listings. Please return the forms to Ms. Ruby Engel on Avalon Campus. The deadline to order and get your listings in will be November 21, 2025.

• Christmas Tree Lot: We will, once again, be selling Christmas trees online at https://fundraiser4us.com/shop/avalon-tk-12-school. Delivery will be Saturday, December 6–weather permitting. There is a delivery option available for an additional $20. We will bring your tree to your location as specified when you order the tree. Stands are also available for sale at $20.
