LOVE OF READING
We trust this newsletter finds you well as we continue to navigate through an exciting and productive academic year. It is our pleasure to share with you some of the remarkable developments and achievements that have taken place within our federation recently.
Our commitment to fostering a love for reading remains unwavering, and this was beautifully exemplified during our recent World Book Day celebrations. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by our pupils, staff, and indeed our entire school community, was truly heartening. This annual event serves as a wonderful reminder of the power of literature to inspire, educate, and unite us all. The joy of reading was palpable throughout our schools, reinforcing our ongoing dedication to nurturing this essential skill and passion in our children.
Well done for the time taken to support this memorable event.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Our pupils have been helping to make decisions about where to plant a wide range or plants which we have invested in across the school grounds. Not only do they look great, but they help to lift everyone's mood and nurturing them is lots of fun and educational.
LEARNING
I am delighted to report that our pupils have been engrossed in fascinating areas of study. The exploration of ancient Greek civilisation has captivated our older children, providing rich opportunities for cross-curricular learning. From philosophy to architecture, the influence of this remarkable culture continues to resonate through our modern world, offering our pupils valuable insights into the foundations of Western civilisation.
Equally exciting has been the enthusiasm shown for our unit on dinosaurs. This perennially popular topic never fails to ignite the imagination of our young learners, encouraging scientific inquiry and fostering a sense of wonder about the natural world. It is truly gratifying to witness the engagement and curiosity of our pupils as they delve into this new learning.
As we reflect on these recent events and learning experiences, I am once again reminded of the incredible community we have built together. Your continued support and engagement play an invaluable role in the success of our federation and the achievements of our pupils.
We look forward to many more exciting developments in the coming weeks and months. As always, we remain committed to providing the highest quality education and nurturing environment for every child in our care.

SPORTS
Some of our pupils took part in a tag rugby tournament and cross country event in Driffield this week. Well done to all who attended. Thanks also to the parents and carers who supported both events by giving up their time.
