Spotlight
Throughout the second half of the school year, middle school students in the Magazine Development elective worked collaboratively to create a dedicated PCK publication titled PCK in Print. The magazine features a wide range of content, including student and staff profiles, entertainment articles, helpful tips, and opinion pieces on topics such as sports and snow days.
This project gave students the opportunity to express their creativity while developing valuable new skills. They strengthened their writing voices, learned to manage deadlines, and explored ideas to bring each page of the magazine to life.
If you’re interested in reading PCK in Print, feel free to read a copy when visiting the front office!

Theater
Congratulations to all of our students who participated in Tuck Everlasting and delivered outstanding performances this past weekend! These productions are the result of months of dedication, with cast and crew working collaboratively to bring the story to life.
Tuck Everlasting follows Winnie Foster’s encounter with the immortal Tuck family and her moral dilemma over whether to drink from a magical spring. Through her journey, the story explores the consequences of immortality and highlights the importance of embracing life’s natural cycle.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Krystal Myers on completing her final show with the PCK music department. Over the past 25 years, Krystal has directed and produced countless productions, inspiring thousands of students to discover a passion for the performing arts. Thank you, Krystal, for your lasting impact and for all you have given to the PCK community.
Library
We’ve partnered with Books Are Awesome in Parker for a Spirit Week! From May 17-23, 10% of all proceeds made using the flyer below will be donated to the PCK Library.
Participating in this sale is also a great opportunity to get a head start on your child’s summer reading! We’re working with Books Are Awesome to stock the books your child will need for their summer reading list.
Thank you for helping our library continue to grow!
Intent to Return
If you are considering a change of schools for the 2026-27 school year, complete our Intent to Return Form. This form helps us prepare for record transfers to your child’s new school, as well as other administrative steps required during the transition.
Please note that submitting this form does not constitute an official withdrawal from PCK. If your plans change and you decide to remain at PCK, completing the form will not affect your child’s enrollment status. Its purpose is simply to support a timely and smooth transition, should one be needed.
Families with students currently in 8th grade who will be transitioning to high school do not need to complete this form.
Lost and Found
Our lost and found has filled up throughout the second half of this school year! Be sure to remind your child to check the lost and found for any items they have misplaced. Any items that are left at PCK on the final day of school on Wednesday, May 27 will be donated.
Health
If your student has medication stored in PCK’s Healthroom, please plan to pick it up by the end of the school day on Wednesday, May 27. Medications cannot be stored at PCK over the summer, and any items left after this date will be properly disposed of before the new school year begins.
If your child will need this medication again, or if you would like medication to be available for the 2026-27 school year, please complete an updated Student Medication Request and Release Form. You can access the form using the button below.
Field Day
Our annual Field Day is just under a month away on Thursday, May 28!
We're continuing the search for community members who can volunteer during this event. Volunteers will assist with a variety of activities, from organizing games to managing refreshment stations.
If you have time in your schedule and would like to help make this event possible, please consider volunteering and signing up through the button below.
Please note that kindergarten students do not participate in Field Day, and if you are a kindergarten parent who has signed up to volunteer your student will not be able to participate in activities on this day.

School Tool Boxes are now available for the upcoming school year! Each box includes all the supplies your student will need, making back-to-school prep simple and convenient.
This year, boxes will be shipped directly to your home rather than delivered to the school. If you’d like to order one, please allow enough time for it to arrive before Open House on Thursday, August 6.
When placing your order, be sure to select the box for the grade level your student will be entering and not the grade they completed during the 2025-26 school year.
You can click the button below to purchase your student's School Tool Box.
From the SAC
The 2025-26 PCK Parent Satisfaction Survey for the is now open and will be available through Sunday, May 10 at 4:00 p.m.
Each year, this anonymous survey gives us the opportunity to reflect on what’s working well and identify areas where we can continue to grow as a school community. Your feedback is especially valuable as we work to improve fundraising efforts and strengthen communication between families and school organizations. While the survey includes a variety of questions, none are required. Every voice matters, and your perspective helps shape the future of PCK.
We will review the results at our meeting on Wednesday, May 13, and look forward to using your insights to support and strengthen our school community.
Volunteer Spotlight
For this week’s Volunteer Spotlight, we’re proud to recognize our incredible PTO for going above and beyond to create a memorable 2026 Teacher Appreciation Week. With thoughtful planning and creativity, they ensured PCK staff felt genuinely valued by the entire school community. From a build-your-own bouquet activity to a soda bar and a variety of appreciation meals, every detail reflected this year’s theme of "Teachers are the Heartbeat of PCK."
This special week serves as a meaningful reminder that our teachers’ dedication to inspiring and supporting students does not go unnoticed. Their impact is real, lasting, and deeply appreciated. To our PTO and all the volunteers who help make this week so special, thank you for everything you do to uplift and celebrate our staff. Your efforts are just one of the many ways the PCK community continues to make a positive difference in our school.
