The Preschool Press is our monthly newsletter with all things related to preschool, our programming and resources for our preschool families.

All preschoolers have a color coded tag on their backpack hook that coordinates to their classroom. This allows all staff to easily identify which classroom a child should be going to for arrival and also if they are a bus rider. Please DO NOT remove the tags.

For the safety and security of all of our Redwood students:

Please only park in designated parking spots
There is no parking in the fire lane in front of the building
The parking lot by the playground can be accessed from the west entrance off of Redwood. Follow the drive in front of the building to get to the spots. DO NOT ENTER off of Redwood into the playground parking lot. That is an EXIT ONLY!

Friendly reminder that the down payment for your child's LEAPS tuition was due with registration, as well as the first monthly payment this August.

As this payment secures your child's place for the LEAPS program for this 25/26 school year, we kindly ask that you submit the payment as soon as possible to avoid any disruption in enrollment.

Payment Information:

Payments can be made online via https://www.payschoolscentral.com/ (attached are also instruction on how to set up reoccurring monthly payments)
Check, cash or money order made payable to Avon Lake City School can be mailed to Treasurer’s Office, 175 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake OH 44012

Preschoolers are required to have a yearly physical on file. Physicals can be emailed to kimberly.rose@alcsoh.org or turned into the Redwood office.

If your child has not had their physical completed yet but you have a scheduled doctor’s appointment, please share that date with our nurse as well at kimberly.rose@alcsoh.org.
