A big thank you to all the families who joined us for Art & Literacy Night! It was a wonderful evening filled with creativity, learning, and fun. We loved seeing our Piper families come together for such a special event!

Dear Piper Families,

October 30th will be a special day at Piper. Children will be allowed to dress in costume, teachers will be doing some fun fall activities, and we will have a parade at 1:45 pm, classroom party at 2 pm with dismissal at 3 pm.

In order to ensure that children get to/from school safely and preserve part of the academic day, we have established the following guidelines:

🎃 Students may wear their complete costume to school for the entire day. They will not be able to take it off and change into different clothes.

🎃 Students will be allowed to wear face paint or color their hair as part of their costumes. Students must arrive like this; they cannot apply make up or color hair at school.

🎃 Costume masks can not be worn during school, but may be worn during the parade.

🎃 Toy weapons will not be allowed as part of a costume.

🎃 Using fake blood as part of the costume is discouraged, please save this for home.

🎃 Shoes must be worn at all times (gym shoes are recommended).

🎃 It is preferred that edible items not be given out at school. Non Edible items like pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. are encouraged. Each child will be given a bag to collect any treats given to them by their classmates. The bag will be stapled closed and students will take the closed bag home.

🎃 Students are not required to dress in costumes or participate in the activities.

Please let your child’s teacher know if your child does not participate in Halloween activities. Fall activities will be arranged for the class. Students not participating in the parade will have an alternative activity to do.
