Around the School Spotlight
This week, we were able to take some time to honor our volunteers and all they do for our school. Hawks View is truly a better place thanks to the gifts of time and talent given by our parents/families and community members! We are so grateful for all you do!
Moving?
If you plan to move over the summer, or have already made a move, please let the office know as soon as possible. As we are starting to think about class placement for next fall, it’s very important that we know if your child(ren) will be attending school at Hawks View. Any end of year mailings will be returned to the office if we do not have your correct address.
Hawks View Field Day
Field Day is coming up on June 7th. Students will enjoy fun activities with their class, including inflatable obstacle courses! We will also be having a picnic lunch as part of the festivities. Flyers came home via backpack mail, be sure to return the bottom portion of the form with your student’s lunch choice by May 31st.
Be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen, and wear comfortable, safe shoes (no sandals, crocs or flip flops) and socks.
We need your help! If you would like to volunteer, please contact Katie Kearn (fundraising@hawksviewpac.org) for more details and watch for the sign-up link. Volunteers must have an approved background check form.
Volunteer Background Checks
The volunteer background check form will be closed this year on June 5, 2024 to avoid any last minute submissions that will not have time to come back approved before the end of the year. If you are interested in volunteering for any end of year events, please be sure you have submitted your background check before June 5th. The process is taking anywhere from 7-10 days at this time. We will reopen the volunteer background check form for next year (24-25) on July 1, 2024.

PAX Parent Workshop
5th Grade Moving to the Middle

PreK Program for 2024-25 - Registration is Still Open!
We are excited to share that our Hawks View PreK class for the 2024-25 school year is still open for registration! Our PreK is open to students who are age 4 on or before September 1, 2024 and is taught by a certified teacher. More information about our PreK program and interest forms can be found here.
