A Message from the Principal
Dear Campestre Families,
Welcome back to the 2nd Nine Weeks! We are excited to see our Cobras return on Wednesday, October 14, ready to learn and achieve great things.
As we begin this new grading period, please help set your child up for success by ensuring they arrive at school by 7:30 a.m. and remain at school for the entire instructional day. Every minute of learning counts!
With cooler weather approaching, please send students to school dressed appropriately. As a reminder, all sweaters and hoodies must be solid red, black, or white and may not contain any text, logos, or graphics. Uniform bottoms must be plain jeans or khaki bottoms with no extra pockets, designs, or embellishments.
Please take a moment to review the 9 Weeks Calendar included in this newsletter. It provides an overview of upcoming events and family engagement opportunities so you can plan ahead and join us throughout the quarter.

Estimadas familias de Campestre,
¡Bienvenidos de regreso al 2.º período de nueve semanas! Estamos emocionados de recibir a nuestros Cobras el miércoles 14 de octubre, listos para aprender y tener éxito.
Por favor, ayúdenos a que sus hijos tengan un excelente comienzo llegando a la escuela antes de las 7:30 a.m. y permaneciendo durante todo el día escolar. ¡Cada minuto de aprendizaje cuenta!
Como el clima está cambiando, les pedimos que envíen a los estudiantes vestidos apropiadamente para el tiempo. Les recordamos que todos los suéteres y sudaderas con capucha (hoodies) deben ser de color rojo, negro o blanco sólido, sin letras, logotipos ni dibujos. Además, los estudiantes deben usar pantalones de mezclilla (jeans) sencillos o pantalones de uniforme color caqui. Los pantalones no deben tener bolsillos adicionales, diseños ni decoraciones.
No olviden revisar el calendario de las próximas nueve semanas, donde encontrarán un resumen de los eventos y actividades familiares para que puedan hacer planes y acompañarnos.

October's Popcorn Fundraiser
Dear Cobra Families,
It’s that time of year again, and we are asking for your help! ❤️🖤 We will be kicking off our Popcorn Fundraiser, and we would love for all of our families to participate.
📅 October 15th: All students will be sent home with their Popcorn Sale Packets.
Every sale makes a difference! 50% of all sales goes directly back to our Cobras and will help provide fun activities, incentives, and special events throughout the school year—including our end-of-year festivities and Field Day! 🎉🏃♀️🍿

Interim STAAR Test This Week! / ¡Examen de Práctica STAAR Esta Semana!
Dear Campestre Families,
Students will be taking the Fall STAAR Interim Test on Thursday, October 15, and Friday, October 16. This assessment helps determine whether students are on track to master their grade-level standards by the end of the school year.
We encourage all students to do their very best, as the results will be used to provide targeted instruction based on each student's individual needs. Please help your child arrive at school on time, well-rested, and ready to learn.

Los estudiantes tomarán el Examen Interino STAAR de Otoño el jueves 15 y viernes 16 de octubre. Este examen nos ayuda a saber si los estudiantes van por buen camino para dominar los estándares de su grado al final del año escolar.
Es muy importante que los estudiantes hagan su mejor esfuerzo. Los resultados se utilizarán para brindar apoyo e instrucción específica según las necesidades de cada estudiante.
Por favor, ayuden a sus hijos a llegar a la escuela a tiempo, bien descansados y listos para aprender.

Peter Piper Family Night
Thank you to the Campestre Community who helped raise money for Teacher Appreciation Week in May! Campestre raised $234 towards our goal of $1,000.
Simply mention your child's teacher at the checkout. The classroom with the most pizzas bought will receive free prizes from Peter Piper Pizza!
Congratulations to Ms. Torres' Kinder Class for having the most participation in the September Family Night!
