Congratulations!

Congratulations to Ms. Brittney Wilson and Ms. Erin Figueras of Lucy T. Davis Elementary who successfully wrote a grant to the South Carolina Arts Commission for music and math supplies. The $3,450 project will supply musical instruments to the music classroom at LTD and math supplies for a community math night at the IGA supermarket on April 4th. The two will also engage students in interdisciplinary lessons which incorporate math concepts into music instruction. Congrats Ms. Wilson and Ms. Figueras!

LinkIt Testing - Grades 3 - 5

All 3rd - 5th graders will be taking the Linkit benchmark test for ELA and Math. The purpose of these assessments are to identify students' academic strengths and weaknesses. We will use this information to guide future instruction, and support success. Your child will take ELA on Tuesday, March 21st and Math on Thursday, March 23rd. We ask that students arrive to school on time, eat a good breakfast and are encouraged to do their very best.

Test Taking Strategies - Grades 3-5

Our 3rd-5th graders will take SC Ready in May. Click HERE to find out what to expect as your child prepares to take their end of year state assessments.
