Good evening, Stonehurst Hills families:

We are wrapping up our second week of school, and our students are continuing to get re-acclimated to the routines and expectations of a full day of school. We are proud of the effort they are putting forth each day!

Over the next few weeks, students will complete a variety of benchmark assessments. These assessments will help us better understand where each student is academically, identify areas of strength and opportunities for growth, and guide our instructional practices throughout the school year.

We will also continue practicing and reinforcing important classroom and schoolwide routines and procedures. Taking the time to establish these expectations now will help our students feel confident, prepared, and successful throughout the school year.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to make this a successful year for every Stonehurst Hills student!

Warm regards,

Mr. Chisholm

Principal

Stonehurst Hills Elementary School

Attendance Awareness Month Message Attendance Awareness Month Message

September is Attendance Awareness Month!

Every school day matters. Regular attendance helps students stay connected to their teachers, classmates, and learning, while also building the habits they need for success in school and beyond. Establishing consistent morning and evening routines, planning ahead for appointments, and communicating with your child’s school when challenges arise can make a meaningful difference in student attendance.

Together, we can help every student be present, engaged, and ready to learn—because every day counts!
