April 2026

April is shaping up to be an exciting and busy month at Fairview! We are looking forward to our Family Reading Night on April 15 from 5:30-7:00 pm, where students and families can enjoy mystery activities together and explore our Buy One Get ONE Free Scholastic Book Fair—perfect for building home libraries and a love of reading. We will also host our annual Title One Night from 5:00-5:30 that evening as well.

We also want to remind families that Kindergarten Registration will take place on Thursday, April 16 at 12:30 p.m. If you have an incoming kindergartener, or know a family who does, please help us spread the word. Thank you for your continued support in making Fairview an amazing place to learn and grow!

Nurse Jill's Corner

Reminder for 5th grade parents - It’s hard to believe it is already April and your child’s time at Fairview is almost complete!

I want to remind you that Unit 5 has a “1st Day Exclusion” policy for physical exams and required immunizations for 6th grade. This means your child’s new physical exam (dated on or after 8/21/25) and current immunizations must be on file at the school BEFORE they can start school in August 2026. Make an appointment NOW for a physical and immunizations. Avoid the rush this summer! Reach out to Nurse Jill if you have any questions. If you already have the required forms completed, feel free to turn them in to the office at Fairview.
