Career Fair Highlights
What a spectacular week at Mesa! Our Career Fair was a tremendous success, featuring more than 40 vendors who showcased a wide range of careers and the preparation each one requires. A special shout-out goes to Mrs. Dilley, Mesa’s CTE leader and coach, for working diligently to make the fair exceptional. Ask your child what career they may want to pursue after finishing school. We also thank Mrs. Graham and her culinary students for providing delicious food for our vendors.
Basketball Teams
Congratulations to our new 7th-grade girls’ and boys’ basketball teams! With tryouts concluding this week, we look forward to cheering on our Panthers throughout the season. Go Green!
A Word about Attendance:
Aristotle is often credited with the saying, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” Regular attendance builds habits of discipline, reliability, and respect for time. It can also support stronger performance, higher grades, and continued educational growth.
Please talk with your child about the importance of coming to school every day. We closely monitor attendance and are pleased to recognize several students who have maintained perfect attendance since the beginning of the school year.
Please look at the flyers below for additional information Happening in the next couple of weeks!

Attendance Counts
Please make every effort to ensure your child attends school each day. Every absence means missed learning time, and consistent attendance is essential for academic growth.
Attendance also supports students’ social well-being, confidence, and growth mindset. When students are present and engaged, they have more opportunities to connect with others and continue building the habits that lead to success.
