Main Road Weekly Update

Dear Main Road School Families,

Welcome Back to Camp Main Road!

What a wonderful start to the school year! It has been an absolute joy welcoming our students back, and they have settled in remarkably well while thoroughly enjoying their first three days of school. Throughout the building, you will notice our overarching school theme, “Explore. Learn. Grow.”, embedded into everything we do as we kick off our year-long camping adventure at Camp Main Road.

Our students are already showing incredible Mustang Pride in their classrooms and hallways. Next week we are holding grade-level assemblies during enrichment to establish and reinforce our school-wide expectations for a safe, supportive, and successful year ahead.

As we navigate the first week, we want to extend a sincere thank you to all of our students, staff, and families for your patience and flexibility as we work out the initial transportation kinks. Your support makes all the difference in keeping things running smoothly! Looking ahead, we are excited to invite you all to join us for Back to School Night next week on Wednesday, September 9th from 5:30-7:00 PM. We look forward to partnering with you for an amazing school year filled with learning, growth, and new adventures!

Please note the following important daily schedule information:

• The school day begins promptly at 8:00 AM.
• Student dismissal will begin with buses this year departing promptly at 2:45 PM
• Please arrive prior to 2:45 for Parent pick-up each day. **You need to let the office know that your child is a parent pickup prior to 2:00 PM each day. Dojo messages regarding transportation should not be sent to teachers during instructional hours.**

We are looking forward to a year filled with kindness, growth, and memorable experiences for all. Thank you for your continued support and collaboration. Working together truly makes a difference in the success of our students and school community.

Let’s make this an amazing year as we Explore, Learn, and Grow together!

Warm regards,

Ms. Nicole Inverso

Our Morning Meetings in September will focus on the theme of Kindness. We are excited to kick off the new school year by exploring what it means to be kind and how we can show kindness each day.

At Main Road School, we define Kindness as acting with understanding, generosity, and care. Through meaningful conversations and activities, students will learn how their words and actions can positively impact others.

We believe that developing skills around Kindness will help us build a strong foundation for a successful school year—one filled with learning, connection, and growth for all.
