April 2026

Happy Spring! April is a busy month! We enter April with "April Fool's Day", Passover, and on April 3rd we are closed due to "Good Friday" and the Easter weekend. On Monday, April 6th, we are also closed to our families. Our staff will be working on Professional Development items that are required to maintain our STAR 4 status. GEARS Kids Center will be re-open on Tuesday, April 7th as usual. We look forward to Earth Day when we release our ladybugs as it has been a tradition for the last few years.

The week of April 13th will be the "Week of the Young Child" . Our staff have planned wonderful activities each day of the week. Your children's teachers will be sharing out numerous pictures of the children experience special activities each day. Friday will be Family Appreciation. Enjoy a "Grab and Run" breakfast treat at each of our sites for our parents.

The 26-27 school year contracts are ready. Kelly and I will be hosting 3 opportunities to complete the fall contracts. We will be in the gym from 3 to 6 pm on April 10th, 17th, and 24th for parents to come and sign their Fall contracts. Similar to how we completed our Summer 26 contracts. We once again we ask families to bring payment of a check, cash or we can also bill your Bright Wheels account. This is for the registration fees. If your child has had a recent "Health Assessment" please bring a copy of this as well. If there are any questions please reach out to Kelly and myself. Children who are moving to Kindergarten and will be in our Kindergarten Enrichment program can still complete the contract. We know that placement of either AM or PM are not shared yet. I will be in communication with East High and Bainbridge School Staff closer to the end of July. At that time we fill the rosters for Kids Center.

Thank you to all of your orders for Little Caesar's Pizza Fundraiser! We will alert families as soon as we have a secure date for our shipment.
