Message from the Principal
Dear Bridges Families -
Dear Bridges Families,
It is hard to believe we are entering the final stretch of the 2025-2026 school year! It has been an incredible journey, and as we look toward these last couple of weeks, our hallways are buzzing with both focus and celebration.
đ Celebrating Our Growth
Our Bears have been working hard to show off everything theyâve learned this year. We are currently wrapping up our culminating learning assessments, including DIBELS, NWEA, and MCA testing. These moments are a wonderful opportunity for students to see just how much they have grown since Augustâwe are so proud of their persistence! This is a a celebration of our teacher talent as well!
âď¸ Spring Events & Traditions
Of course, it wouldnât be the end of the year without the community events that make Bridges Community School so special. Please mark your calendars for:
Spring Program, May 5: Join us as our talented students take the stage to share their musical and artistic gifts.
Walk and Bike to School, May 6: Weâre embracing the beautiful spring weatherâfeel free to join the caravan and start the day with some fresh air!
All-School Activities & Picnic, May 12: To cap it all off, weâll head outside for our annual day of play and our community picnic. Itâs the perfect way to celebrate our friendships and our hard work.
Thank you for your unwavering support of our students and staff. Letâs make these final days memorable, joyful, and full of Bear pride!
Partners in Learning,
Mrs. Rittmiller

5th Grade Field Trip
Each year our 5th graders have a wonderful learning opportunity learning about Minnesota History. We traveled to Grand Rapids and stopped at the Indian Museum, then to the Forest HIstory Center, next was off to Hibbing to learn about open pit mining and our final destination was to Duluth where we learned about the the importance of ships as we toured the William Irvin. What a great time of learning and friendships as students played games, swam and sang in the hotels!
Lunch Options:
Students and parents may bring a cold lunch or order one from the cafeteria. Teachers will be asking students 1 week prior for their lunch count numbers so please communicate with your chid his/her plan.
