Mrs. Elliott's Message Mrs. Elliott's Message

Hello Maple Families,

To celebrate March Madness this month, our school will be holding an attendance competition. Each week, classes will "face off" against each other to see which class has the best attendance for the week. Our challenge will continue each week until the end of month. Which class will come out on top and win the Attendance Championship...only time will tell!

Our team is hoping that warmer temperatures are headed our way! Until they do, please remember to send your child to school prepared to head outside for recess. With the windchill, the sunny skies can be deceiving. Thank you for your help with keep our students warm!

Is your child missing a coat, hat, gloves, waterbottles, or hoodies? Have them stop by the Lost & Found in the gym. We have a LOT of winter clothes in our bin. Please take a look at the photos below to see if you recognize anything!

Upcoming Dates

  • 3/6 ~ Grade 1 Music Concerts
  • 3/9 ~ PTA Skate Night at North Olmsted Recreation Center (see below for sign-up)
  • 3/12 ~ PTA Meeting at 6:30 in Media Center
  • 3/13 ~ End of Q3 Grading Period
  • 3/14 ~ No School: Staff Professional Day

Classroom Connections 💡 Classroom Connections 💡

Scholars in Mrs. Johnston's read the story The Magical Yet and created narratives on how they created their own version of a Yet. After writing their stories, they read them aloud. QR codes were then created and added to their published documents. Next time you are in the 300 hallway, scan the code with your phone to hear the voice of each author reading their masterpiece!

Mrs. Parikh's students have been sending letters to other students across the United States. They have received letters from all over the country sharing how they celebrate Valentine's Day and other things about their schools!
