Principal's Message
On Tuesday, November 3, our campus will serve as a polling location for the Midterm General Election. Due to this, you will notice additional activity on campus from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the school library.
Our school and district staff have planned accordingly to ensure that there will be minimal disruptions to the school day during voting times. Additionally, hired security will be present on campus to help ensure that voters remain within designated voting areas.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment for our students.
Celebrating Red Ribbon Week (10/26-10/30)
Thank You for Making Our Harvest Festival and Book Fair Special!
Thank you to all of our Beckman families for joining us at our annual Harvest Festival despite the rainy weather! Your candy donations, participation, and support helped make the event a special and memorable experience for our students and families.
A special thank-you to Mrs. Troutner and Mrs. Brownell for their hard work, dedication, and organization in making this event possible. Also, thank all of our Beckman staff members and the Tokay High School students who volunteered their time to run the games and activities.
Additionally, a GIANT thank-you to Ms. T., our school librarian, Mrs. Murillo, Mrs. Velasquez, Ms. Abbie, and other volunteers for running our Fall Book Fair. Your time and effort helped create a wonderful opportunity for our students to explore new books and develop a love of reading. We appreciate Bobcat families for getting books into your child's hands, supporting our school, and making literacy a priority at Beckman Elementary!
We are grateful for our wonderful school community and the teamwork that makes events like these possible. Thank you for helping make Beckman a special place to learn and grow!
Parent Café
We are excited to offer a Parent Café at Beckman Elementary beginning Tuesday, November 10, at 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. Parent Café is a welcoming opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, build relationships, learn from one another in a supportive environment, and become a better parent. Coffee, juice, water, and pastries will be provided.
The group will meet weekly through February 2, 2027, with 10 sessions (11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/16, and 2/2) in total.
