Wow, Mill Valley families—you truly outdid yourselves! Not only have we REACHED our GOAL of $30,000, we are SO CLOSE to reaching our STRETCH GOAL!

Thanks to your amazing support during the PTO fundraiser, the Color Run tomorrow is going to be unforgettable. Get ready for our Color Run, where we'll gather as our Mill Valley family to celebrate spirit, teamwork, and lots of laughs. We can't wait to see you all bring the energy!

Tomorrow is White Out dress-up day!

Please wear white, but keep in mind that clothes and shoes will get covered in color.

A extra special note of gratitude goes out to our incredible PTO board members and extra volunteers. Countless hours of hard work, planning, and behind-the-scenes magic go into making an event and fundraiser like this run smoothly. We truly could not do this special event without their dedication, enthusiasm, and heart for our school community!

Here are some important details about the event that day...

• Approved Volunteers report to the BLACKTOP at 1:00pm
• Spectators arrive after 1:45pm to cheer on or run/walk with our MV Family (cheer from the designated grade level areas or any area that works best to spread out - see course map below)
• PARKING AVAILABLE in the extra lot off of Racine, next to Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home (see map below)
• No need to check in at the office
• Classes will start lining up at 2:00pm on the blacktop and will have a staggered start onto the course
• After the run is complete, students will enter the BLAST OFF STATION (leaf blowers) at 2:30-2:45pm before entering back into the school. All students will re-enter the building following the run.
• If you are planning to take your child home following the Color Run, please follow the DISMISSAL PLAN below.

Once a month, you will receive and email from Infinite Campus detailing your student's attendance.

ALL families receive this email even if their child has not been absent from school.

And don't forget to ask for a school note for your child's doctor appointment. The absence will be marked DRX (doctor excused) rather than APT (appointment).

Our students have been hard at work learning how to navigate the library! From finding their favorite subjects to practicing checkout, they’re doing a fantastic job. It’s been wonderful to see their excitement as they select, check out, and dive into their new books. Ask your reader about the books they brought home this week!

If you ordered a t-shirt for tomorrows COLOR RUN, they are going home today.

Ski and Snowboard Club provides students with the opportunity to purchase lift tickets and rentals at significantly discounted rates at Alpine Valley Monday–Friday, as well as on Sundays after 3:00 PM.

Students enroll in the discount program by purchasing a $32 Club Card. The Club Card includes:

• One free lesson on scheduled Ski and Snowboard Club dates

• Access to discounted lift tickets and rentals

• The ability for friends and family to take advantage of special club pricing on designated dates
