Red Ribbon Week (October 26 - 30)
This nationwide campaign encourages students to make healthy choices, stay drug-free, and build safe and healthy habits.
Throughout the week, students will participate in fun spirit days to remind us that we can make positive choices that keep our minds and bodies healthy.
Our daily themes are:
Mon: Wear Red – Drugs are RED-iculous!
Tues: Fun Socks – Sock it to Drugs!
Wed: Superhero/Sports Team – Team Up Against Drugs!
Thur: Tie-Dye – Peace Out to Drugs!
Fri: Halloween Costumes – Drugs are a Trick, NOT a Treat!
We encourage families to talk with their children about the importance of making healthy decisions, being positive role models, and choosing activities that support a healthy lifestyle.
SAFETY
ALL visitors MUST check in at the office if you need to enter campus.
Parents/Guardians who enter the parking lot in a vehicle must remain in their vehicle.
DO NOT cross in front of the EXIT or ENTRANCE to the parking lot; Use the sidewalk inside of the parking.
PARENT RESOURCES
We’re here to support our families! Our school offers helpful resources for students and parents, including academic support, social-emotional services, and community connections. If you need help or have questions, please reach out to the school office—we’re happy to help.

PBIS CORNER
AVID CORNER
Needham Knights, this week we are focusing on COLLABORATION!
Working with others is an essential skill for college, career, and life. AVID encourages students to communicate, contribute, and learn from one another.
This week, look for opportunities to:
- Practice active listening
- Encourage students to explain their thinking
- Give every student a role during partner/group work
- Ask students to build on one another's ideas
Ask students: “How did working with someone else help you learn?”
AVID Challenge: Try one structured partner or collaborative learning activity this week.
Together, Needham Knights learn more!
