Warrior Connection - May 24
May 24

Principal’s Note
We are here — the last week of school. This year we have grown, improved, learned lessons, worked hard, and played hard together. Thank you for sharing your children with us and for the support you have shown throughout the year.
We only have TWO days of school this week, and they are filled with fun celebrations and activities.
On Tuesday, our 8th graders will travel to Indian Hot Springs for their end-of-year field trip. If your student is ineligible to attend due to grades, you should have received a Remind message over the weekend.
On Wednesday, the last day of school, students will be dismissed at the regular time of 3:45 PM.
Please remind your student to check the Lost and Found before the last day of school. All remaining items will be donated after school is out. Report cards will be sent home with students on Wednesday. Once you receive report cards, if you are uncertain if your student will need to recover credits, or has received FA (failure to attend), on Thursday, reach out to Mrs. Reed.
I hope everyone has a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer. Best wishes to our 8th graders as they move on to high school. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.

Wednesday May 27
Wednesday will be a busy and exciting day as we wrap up the school year together. Our 8th graders will begin the day with a special celebration just for them, including snacks, games, and a TikTok challenge (see information below).
From 11:00 AM–1:30 PM, we will host a schoolwide barbecue with West End cooking hamburgers for our students. During this time, we will also hold our 2nd Annual Warrior Celebration featuring games, activities, and food trucks. Students may purchase treats and food items from the food trucks if they choose. Activities will include laser tag, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, cornhole, and other games and activities.
We will end the day by cleaning out lockers, handing out yearbooks, and giving students time to sign yearbooks and celebrate the memories made this year.
