We are so excited to welcome our students and families back to campus! We hope your winter break was restful, joyful, and filled with special moments with loved ones. As we step into the spring semester, our focus remains the same: creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to grow.

To our students: We are so happy to have you back! We believe in you and can’t wait to see all that you will accomplish this semester.

To our parents and guardians: Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Your involvement and encouragement make a powerful difference in your child’s success. We look forward to working closely with you and maintaining open communication every step of the way.

📌 Attendance Reminder:

Our school day begins promptly at 7:50 AM, and consistent attendance is key to student success—every day counts! To support timely arrivals:

• Parents/guardians dropping off students after 7:50 AM will receive a Parent Tardy—a friendly reminder of our start time.

• Students arriving at 8:05 AM or later must be signed in by a parent/guardian at the front office.

The Corpus Christi Education Foundation is excited to announce our 9th Annual “Hearts and Mind 5K” on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Water's Edge Park (602 S. Shoreline). This event is free for all CCISD students who register online using our link.

We are thrilled to announce that Smith Elementary will be offering childcare for CCISD employees! Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.

If you need childcare for a child between 6 weeks and 3 years old (turning 3 after September 1st), please complete the application and select your preferred location.

We’re excited to support our CCISD families with this opportunity!
