Dear Families,
November is a month with many stops and starts - days off, half-days, holidays, oh my! This week is no exception, with just two and a half days and then Thanksgiving break. It is wonderful to see and hear all the incredible learning and collaboration happening in our classrooms, as our teachers and students make the most of this fast month!
All Weymouth families are invited to the November SEPAC Meeting and presentation on November 29th at 7pm via Zoom. There will be a presentation on Parent Autism Training from Mass Advocates for Children. This workshop provides an overview of specific special education requirements addressing the unique needs of students with autism. More information can be found here: November SEPAC Meeting

Parent Council Corner
Parent Council events rely heavily on volunteers and donations from the Wessagusset community. We appreciate all of you who give your time (and money) to our events.
Please consider volunteering for one of the following PC sponsored events. It’s a great way to meet your children’s friends from school and perhaps make a new (parent) friend or two. Please remember that your CORI must be up to date in order to volunteer. We are seeking multiple volunteers for the following events / initiatives:
Stock the Teachers Lounge: we are still looking for another family to help stock the teacher’s lounge the first week in December with treats / goodies / snacks that the teachers and staff can enjoy all month long. Volunteers will purchase (or make) snacks and coordinate their drop off with Mrs. Harmon in the front office the first week of the month. This is an ongoing monthly initiative. Even if you can’t commit to December,
you can sign up for future months here: https://signup.com/go/wSnoRNi
Holiday Shop: In school event on 12/14/22 and 12/15/22 from 9AM -3PM. We are looking for parent/guardian volunteers to assist the students with shopping, stocking the tables, and helping the kiddos manage their money. https://signup.com/go/fajjMpa
We are currently accepting donations of all kinds of items to sell at the holiday shop. If you’re out this weekend and see some deals at The Dollar Store, the Target Dollar bins, Marshalls, or Five Below please keep the holiday shop in mind. We LOVE homemade gifts too, check out Pinterest or Etsy for inspiration! Donations can be dropped off at the school. or contact Chrissy Oliver (ceastman73@gmail.com) to arrange for anything to be picked up.
PJ’s and Painting: our winter event to be held 12/2/22 6:30PM – 7:30PM at Wessagusset Cafeteria. We are looking for volunteers to help set up / clean up and supervise the students during their time at the event. https://signup.com/go/dihadjv
