Lyon Loop: December 2025 Newsletter
November 2025 Newsletter

Message from the Superintendent:
As we move into December, I want to take a moment to recognize the commitment and effort our students and staff have shown throughout the fall. This time of year offers a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made together while also focusing on the important work still ahead. I encourage all students to stay engaged, give their best effort, and continue building strong momentum as we head into January and the remainder of the school year.
With winter weather on the horizon, this is also a good time to remind families about our procedures for delayed starts or snow days. If weather conditions require a schedule change, families will receive notification by both email and phone call. To ensure you receive these important updates, please make sure your contact information—especially your phone number and email address—is current in your student’s Infinite Campus profile. Please reach out to your student's school office directly if you have questions on how to update your contact information. Updates on delayed starts and snow days can also be found on our website and social media pages.
As a reminder, the end of the semester for LCSD is January 29, 2026. Attendance continues to play a critical role in student success. Every day of learning matters, and we appreciate your support in helping students arrive on time, ready to learn, and engaged in their school community.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. I am grateful for our LCSD community and look forward to the many great things the new year will bring.
Warm regards,
Tim Logan
Superintendent
Lyon County School District
