Another school year is quickly coming to an end, and we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our entire SAM community for your support throughout the year. It has been a year filled with both challenges and growth, and we are grateful to have shared the journey with all of you by our side.

As we head into our final few days before Summer Break, we would love to invite you to our End-of-Year Farewell Assembly, where we will celebrate our graduating Grade 6 students and reflect on the many accomplishments and memories from the year.

We wish all of our students, families, and staff a wonderful summer break - hopefully with a little more sunshine in the upcoming forecast! For those who are ready to start thinking about next year, please see this edition of The Paw Print for important school start-up information and updates.

Have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer!

A huge thank you to our SAM School community for supporting the food drive organized by our Grade 6 Leadership students. Students were challenged to bring in donations for the St. Albert Food Bank to earn a class Yes Day.

We are proud to share that our school donated more than 1,300 pounds of food! The response from our students and families was truly outstanding.

Representatives from the St. Albert Food Bank expressed their sincere gratitude, sharing that food supplies were running very low and that these donations arrived at a critical time. Thanks to the generosity of our school community, many local families will receive much-needed support.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this effort. Your generosity made a real difference, and we are so proud of what our school community accomplished together.

Our Grade 5 Leadership students came up with a fantastic idea to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation! Wanting to do something fun and unique, they worked together to organize a school-wide garage sale.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students, families, and staff, the event was a huge success. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated items and to those who came out to shop and support the cause.

We are thrilled to share that the SAM School community raised an amazing $2,305 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation! Amazing!!! This money will help make a real difference for children facing serious illnesses by helping bring their wishes to life.

We are so proud of our Grade 5 Leadership students for their creativity, initiative, and commitment to making a difference.
