December 2 - December 8, priority will be given to children of GPS employees and

children of CURRENT GPS preschool families.

Preschool registrations do NOT rollover to the following school year. If you would like your child, or a sibling, to attend GPS preschool as a tuition student next year you must submit a new Eleyo registration.

Many preschool classes fill up quickly. Register early to secure your child's placement.

1. Complete Eleyo registration to request a placement in program and location.
2. Complete Infinite Campus Registration for any new to GPS student. The campus choice will be GPS Holding on this registration.
3. Turn in required documents and finalize registration with the Attendance Specialist or Registrar at the campus your child will be attending.

Building Blocks:

Islands will be offered as a 3/4 classroom option

Building Blocks hours will be 7:45 am - 3:15 pm to accommodate an earlier school day drop off.

Families of preschoolers in Building Blocks may choose to extend their day (6:30 am - 6:00 pm) for an additional fee using the VIK before and after school program. Registration for VIK extended day begins in March.

Kindergarten Prep:

Spectrum and Val Vista Lakes will each offer hybrid schedules. Families will have their choice of AM session (8:15 am -11:15 am), PM session (12:15 pm - 3:15 pm), or Full Day session (8:15 am - 3:15 pm) with 11:15 am release on Wednesdays.

If you have a GPS preschooler on an IEP and they will only be attending Advantage Preschool next school year, you do NOT need to complete this registration. You will follow any directives from the Special Education Department and their placement will be done next spring.

If you are wanting to add a tuition program to your child's day you must complete an Eleyo registration for the tuition portion of their day. You must also email a copy of your child's current IEP to nancy.parker@gilbertschools.net prior to registration approval.

If your child will be a new Gilbert Public Schools student, you will also need to complete an Infinite Campus registration. This sets the child up as a student in the district database. This is the system the district will use to contact families if there was ever an emergency. The health office on the campus also relies on Infinite Campus. Enter your child as a New Enrolling Student in the Online Registration.

Returning GPS preschool students do not need a new Infinite Campus registration.

If you qualify for DES Child Care Assistance, it may be used towards preschool tuition at most of our locations. You must receive authorization from DES and that authorization must be provided to the Community Education Business Office. communityedbusinessdept@gilbertschools.net

Kindergarten Registration for Gilbert Public Schools

Age Requirement: 5 years old by August 31, 2025
