Cardinal families,

It’s hard to believe we are already approaching the end of first quarter! With Friday, November 6 just under two weeks away, now is a great time to sit down with your kiddo and take a look at their grades together.

Log in to Qmlativ Family Access and start a conversation: What are you proud of? Which class feels challenging? What is one step you can take this week to make progress? Celebrate the successes, too—whether that’s a strong grade, an improvement, or the courage to ask for help.

If a grade raises concerns, encourage your student to connect with their teacher now and make a plan. Our Learning Lab time provides a built-in opportunity to get support, ask questions, and work toward learning goals. Students planning to visit a teacher on Thursday should arrange their pass in advance.

There is still time to take meaningful steps. Thank you for helping your kiddo make a plan, follow through, and finish the quarter strong!

Still waiting to test? Check your school email daily for your testing date, time, and important testing rules. Your hall pass will be delivered the day before your scheduled test.

A few reminders:

• Bring your fully charged laptop and charger.

• Plan for at least three hours to complete the test.

• Report to Room 402 in the language hallway.

Grab your friends and get your costumes ready! BSU is hosting a Fall Costume Party this Wednesday, October 28, from 6–8 p.m. Come enjoy games, snacks, and a fun evening with friends!

Admission is $5. Pay at the bookkeeper’s window to secure your spot.

Costumes are encouraged, but no masks or face coverings that hide your identity will be allowed.

Everyone must be identifiable upon entry.
